How to Reschedule the ATI TEAS
If you registered through ATI, rescheduling is typically $15 and must be finished at least 48 hours before the appointment. Same location, within 30 days, no refunds for missed tests.
Short answer
Students who originally scheduled the TEAS through ATI can usually change the date or time for $15 if they still have an active, unrestricted appointment. The change must be completed at least 48 hours before the scheduled date and time, at the same location, and no more than 30 days after the original date, subject to availability. ATI does not refund missed, canceled, rescheduled, or invalidated exams. A retake after a completed attempt is a different policy.
$15 and 48 hours, not a free calendar shuffle
If you registered through ATI, a date change is typically $15 and must be completed at least 48 hours before the appointment. That 48 hours is exact: ATI’s reschedule FAQs use the example that a 2:00 p.m. exam on December 4 can be changed only until 1:59 p.m. on December 2. Finish the change in your ATI account, then keep the same study block rather than pausing for a ‘new start’.
You must have an active, unrestricted TEAS date already scheduled with ATI. The new date can be no more than 30 days after the original, at the same location, and only if a seat exists. You cannot change exam type (proctor or program type) in that flow.
This is not the retake wait after you already tested. Reschedule is an unused appointment. Retake is another attempt.
How to change an ATI-scheduled seat
ATI’s current steps:
- Log in at atitesting.com.
- Choose Reschedule Exam.
- Read the requirements and confirm.
- Pick a new date or time inside the pre-selected 30-day window.
- Pay the $15 fee and verify the new details.
You may reschedule more than once. Each eligible change is another $15.
Documented emergencies inside the 48-hour window are not a self-serve click. ATI tells candidates to contact customer support (1-800-667-7531) or follow the current documented-emergency instructions. Approval is case by case. Do not treat a Reddit story as a waiver.
Exam-day ID rules still apply to the new seat. Cost still has no refund for a miss.
When the new confirmation exists, run a mixed set on the new clock.
PSI appointments are a second process
If you registered for TEAS at PSI, ATI says you may reschedule if it is 48 hours before the start. Use the Manage Exam link on the PSI card in your ATI account, or call PSI Candidate Services. A voicemail or email is not an acceptable cancellation. Fail to cancel two days before, miss the test, arrive late, or fail ID, and ATI says the registration is invalid and the fee is forfeited.
What you forfeit if you just do not show up
ATI does not refund missed, canceled, rescheduled, or invalidated TEAS exams. Technical issues and school-policy mistakes are listed as ineligible for refund or reschedule on the reschedule-policy summary ATI publishes.
Protect the appointment. Then use the recovered day on the section that was already failing.
