How to Reschedule the ATI TEAS

$15 and 48 hours, not a free calendar shuffle

If you registered through ATI, a date change is typically $15 and must be completed at least 48 hours before the appointment. That 48 hours is exact: ATI’s reschedule FAQs use the example that a 2:00 p.m. exam on December 4 can be changed only until 1:59 p.m. on December 2. Finish the change in your ATI account, then move your study plan to the new date in the Passy ATI TEAS prep app → rather than pausing for a ‘new start’.

You must have an active, unrestricted TEAS date already scheduled with ATI. The new date can be no more than 30 days after the original, at the same location, and only if a seat exists. You cannot change exam type (proctor or program type) in that flow.

This is not the retake wait after you already tested. Reschedule is an unused appointment. Retake is another attempt.

How to change an ATI-scheduled seat

ATI’s current steps:

1. Log in at atitesting.com.
2. Choose Reschedule Exam.
3. Read the requirements and confirm.
4. Pick a new date or time inside the pre-selected 30-day window.
5. Pay the $15 fee and verify the new details.

You may reschedule more than once. Each eligible change is another $15.

Documented emergencies inside the 48-hour window are not a self-serve click. Who you contact depends on the exam type. TEAS at ATI goes to proctor@atitesting.com. TEAS at Institution and TEAS Online at Institution go to 1-800-667-7531 or onlinestore@atitesting.com, and the school may have its own rule. TEAS at PSI goes to PSI. Chamberlain University applicants use the Chamberlain TEAS team. Include your name, the email on the ATI account, the original date, documentation, and two alternate dates. ATI says to expect a reply within two business days. Approval is case by case.

Exam-day ID rules still apply to the new seat. Cost still has no refund for a miss.

When the new confirmation exists, keep studying on that date. Passy does not change the appointment.

PSI appointments are a second process

If you registered for TEAS at PSI, reschedule with PSI, not through the $15 ATI flow. Notice must be received at least 2 days before the test date. A Monday appointment needs that notice by the previous Saturday. Use the Manage Exam link on the PSI card in your ATI account, or call PSI Candidate Services at 833-537-1330 and speak to a person. A voicemail or email is not an acceptable cancellation. Fail to cancel two days before, miss the test, arrive after the start time, or fail to present proper ID, and the registration is invalid and the fee is forfeited.

What you forfeit if you just do not show up

ATI does not refund missed, canceled, rescheduled, or invalidated TEAS exams. The reschedule article does not list technical issues or a school-policy mistake as a named exception. The TEAS at ATI quickstart says a problem with your own computer or connection is not a valid reason for a refund or a free reschedule.

Protect the appointment. A recovered day can go to a section you already know needs work.
