How to Register for the ATI TEAS
Start with each school’s TEAS policy, create an ATI account, then choose TEAS at ATI, TEAS at PSI, or an institution administration. Name on the ID must match the registration.
Short answer
Registration starts with the nursing or allied-health program you are applying to, not with a random open date. Some schools collect payment on their own site; others send you to ATI. You need an ATI account to test, view scores, and send transcripts. If you register through ATI, the four delivery options are TEAS at ATI remote, TEAS Online at Institution remote, TEAS at Institution in person, and TEAS at PSI. The first and last name on the government-issued photo ID must match the registration.
The school policy is the first click
Registration starts with the school you are applying to, not with a random date on ATI’s calendar. Some programs handle payment on their own website. Others require www.atitesting.com. Read that policy for attempt limits, waits, and minimum scores before you pay, then keep a TEAS study rhythm that can survive a delayed seat.
You still need an ATI account to take the exam, see the score, and send official results. Create it before test day. The first and last name used to register must match a valid government-issued photo ID. Photocopies and phone photos of an ID do not count. Exam-day ID rules own the packing list. Four ATI delivery options when the school uses ATI
If the school sends you to ATI, ATI currently describes four options. The school may require one of them.
TEAS at ATI remote. You test at home. ATI proctors. You pick the date and time in ATI. Times are scheduled in central time; convert yours. You send results to schools. One free transcript is included.
TEAS Online at Institution remote. You test at home. The school proctors. You choose the school, date, and time in ATI. Results go automatically to that school.
TEAS at Institution in person. You test at a campus or testing center the school names. The school proctors. Results go automatically to that school.
TEAS at PSI. You pay ATI, then schedule with PSI for a PSI center or a PSI remote seat. You send results. One free transcript is included.

Some schools will not accept a remote transcript. ATI says refunds are not provided and the attempt still counts if you chose a format the school rejects. Confirm that in writing before checkout.
When the option is locked, sample all four TEAS sections once so registration is not your only progress.
Transcripts and older versions
To send results to more than one school, buy additional transcripts. ATI also warns that ATI TEAS Version 4 (IV) scores apply only to the institution where that version was taken and cannot be sent elsewhere. Version 7 is the current exam described on Passy’s what is on the TEAS page.

Finish registration, then stop tinkering
After payment, save the confirmation, time zone, and delivery method. Do not create a second ATI account because the first one “looks stuck.” Use ATI support or the school testing office.

If two applications disagree about remote testing, do not pay until both programs would accept the same administration.
A second receipt is not a backup plan.
