How to Send ATI TEAS Scores to Schools: TEAS at ATI, PSI, or Institution
Send ATI TEAS scores the right way for how you tested: manual transcripts for TEAS at ATI and PSI, automatic delivery for school-proctored exams, plus credits, timing, and what to verify.
Short answer
How you send an ATI TEAS score depends on who proctored the exam. For TEAS at ATI and TEAS at PSI, sign in to your ATI account and select Send Transcript; one transcript credit comes with registration. A TEAS at ATI transcript can be queued while the score is preliminary and goes out once it is final. For an exam proctored by a school, in person or remote, the included transcript goes automatically to that school and can't be redirected. Each extra school needs another transcript credit.
Identify who proctored your exam
The transcript process depends on who administered the exam, not on whether it was online or in person. ATI uses four delivery types:
- TEAS at ATI: remote, at home, with an ATI proctor.
- TEAS Online at Institution: remote, at home, proctored by a school.
- TEAS at Institution: in person, on a campus or at a school's testing center.
- TEAS at PSI: PSI runs the exam, either at a PSI test center or online with PSI's live proctoring. ATI handles the purchase and the transcript.
The two school-proctored types send scores the same way. Your confirmation email or the exam card in your ATI account names the method. If it's unclear, ask the testing site or ATI before you use or buy a transcript credit. These steps reflect ATI's help pages as of October 2026 and apply to 2027 applications unless ATI changes them.
TEAS at ATI: send the transcript yourself
A TEAS at ATI registration includes one official transcript credit, and the transcript is not sent automatically. To send it:
- Sign in at atitesting.com with the ATI account you tested under.
- Select Send Transcript under TEAS Activity, or open the Results tab and select Send Transcript below your scored proctored exam.
- Choose the school carefully. If it doesn't appear, or two schools have similar names, confirm the destination with the program before you submit.
- Follow the prompts to send.
- Keep ATI's confirmation email, then check receipt with the school.
Sending while the score is preliminary
A TEAS at ATI score appears right after the exam with a Preliminary watermark. It stays preliminary for 4 business days after the test date, not counting weekends and major holidays, and becomes official when the watermark is removed.
You can send the transcript during that window. ATI queues it and releases it to the school automatically once the score is final; nothing reaches the school before then. Two details matter: the credit is used at the moment you click send, and a send cannot be cancelled. Once released, the transcript is delivered electronically within two hours, and ATI emails you when it has been sent.
Don't apply this preliminary process to PSI or school-proctored exams. ATI describes it only for TEAS at ATI.
TEAS at PSI: wait for the result to post
PSI sends your results to ATI, and ATI says TEAS at PSI results post to your ATI account within 48 hours of finishing the exam. Once the result appears, open the Results tab, select Send Transcript under that exam, and follow the prompts. Registration includes one official transcript credit.
The date on the score report is the date the result posts to your account, not the date you tested, so leave room for that when a deadline is close.
Before you send, confirm that the school accepts a TEAS taken through PSI, and through PSI's online option if that is how you tested. ATI tells candidates to check acceptance first.
School-proctored exams go to the host school
When a school or testing institution proctors your TEAS, in person or remotely, the included transcript is sent automatically to that institution, within two hours of finishing the exam according to ATI. You don't select anything, and you cannot change where that included transcript goes.
For the host school:
- no manual transcript step is needed.
- the included destination is always the institution where you tested.
- the automatic send does not mean any other program has your score.
If you tested at one school but are applying to another, check that the second school accepts outside scores before you buy an additional transcript. ATI warns that some schools don't accept TEAS exams taken at other locations or remote exams.
How long delivery takes
ATI's transcript pages give the same two-hour delivery window, measured from different starting points:
| How you tested | When the transcript goes | ATI's stated delivery |
|---|---|---|
| School-proctored | Automatically, after the exam | Within 2 hours of finishing |
| TEAS at ATI | When you send it, released once the score is final | Within 2 hours of release |
| TEAS at PSI | When you send it, after the result posts | Within 2 hours of sending |
ATI's page on extra transcripts adds that the two hours exclude weekends and holidays. Treat these as ATI's targets, not a guarantee of when the school's system shows your score. Keep these events separate:
- the score appears in your ATI account.
- a preliminary TEAS at ATI score becomes final.
- you send or queue the transcript.
- ATI delivers the electronic record.
- the school matches it to your application.
ATI says it reports results to schools as a convenience and that making sure each application and score is complete and on file is your responsibility. Plan around the school's deadline with a margin, save every confirmation, and ask the admissions office how it defines an on-time score. If the deadline still leaves room to test again before you send anything, plan the days before a retest with the study planner in full ATI TEAS prep.
Each additional school needs its own credit
You can send your official TEAS transcript to more than one school. The included credit covers one destination; every additional school needs another transcript credit, bought through the ATI Store. ATI currently lists extra credits at $29.99 each, one credit per submission, and the credits don't expire. The ATI TEAS cost guide covers the other fees.
If you have taken the TEAS more than once, you can choose which result to send from the Results tab, where each scored exam has its own Send Transcript link. The official transcript also reports how many times you have taken the exam, and each school sets its own retake rules. If none of your results meets a program's requirement yet, focus your next study block on the weakest section with Weak Spot in full ATI TEAS prep before you test again.
Before you use a credit, verify:
- the exact institution and program destination.
- whether the school accepts TEAS at ATI, PSI, remote, or outside-institution scores.
- which attempt the school wants if you have more than one.
- the score deadline for the right application term.
- whether your score is still inside the school's window. ATI says TEAS scores are valid for two years, and the TEAS score validity guide explains why some schools accept less.
Don't assume one submission is shared among campuses, programs, or application services. Ask each recipient what it accepts and how it confirms receipt.
Confirm the score and the application separately
After you send, keep ATI's confirmation email and check the school's application portal, or contact its admissions office. If the score is missing, have your exam date, testing method, and transcript confirmation ready, and contact ATI through its official support channels.
Sending is the last step for a score you already have. If you're reading this before your exam, start with the ATI TEAS passing score guide to confirm what each program requires, then practice all four TEAS sections with explanations before your test date.
