NCLEX-PN Quick Results: When and How You Can See Them
In participating U.S. jurisdictions, unofficial NCLEX-PN Quick Results may be available two business days after the exam. They do not authorize you to practice as an LPN/LVN.
Short answer
If you sought U.S. licensure with a participating nursing regulatory body, unofficial NCLEX Quick Results may be available two business days after the exam through your Pearson account. Quick Results do not authorize practice as a licensed practical or vocational nurse. Only your NRB issues official results, typically within six weeks.
Unofficial, two business days, participating U.S. NRBs only
NCLEX’s Quick Results page says some candidates seeking U.S. licensure can access unofficial test results two business days after testing. If you are still preparing for a first attempt, keep studying the PN map rather than result folklore.
The same page states that Quick Results do not authorize you to practice as a licensed or registered nurse. For PN candidates that means you still wait for the NRB before working as an LPN or LVN.
NCLEX also states that only the NRB sends official results, and that this typically occurs within six weeks.
How to purchase Quick Results
The official steps are:
- Sign in on the Pearson NCLEX site with the account you used to test.
- Under My Account, select Quick Results.
- If a result is available, complete purchase.
- The unofficial result appears on the receipt page.
NCLEX notes that your card is charged only if results are available. Participating NRBs are listed on the current Quick Results page—check that list rather than assuming every U.S. jurisdiction is included, and do not treat a 2026 list as frozen forever.
NCLEX-PN is used for U.S. licensure only. Do not expect a Canadian PN Quick Results path that official registration does not offer.

If Quick Results show a fail, use the CPR Guide once the official report exists, then failed NCLEX-PN. Retake timing is an NCSBN baseline plus your NRB.
Length of the exam still does not override these channels: 85 and 150.
If nothing appears after two business days
Possibilities include a non-participating NRB, a weekend/holiday delay in “business days,” a hold, or an account mismatch. NCLEX’s results pages—not a Facebook group—are the next check. Some candidates see delays described as results on hold; that is an official-process issue, not a Passy diagnosis of your score.
