AFQT subjects
- Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension
- Arithmetic Reasoning and Mathematics Knowledge
- These four feed the enlistment percentile. They are not the whole battery.
Military aptitude
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is a U.S. military aptitude test used for enlistment screening and job matching. It is not a certification, and there is no single passing score. The AFQT is a percentile from four subtests: Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Arithmetic Reasoning, and Mathematics Knowledge. Other subtests feed service composites. The computer version, the paper version, the school Career Exploration Program, and the at-home PiCAT are not the same sitting. Passy does not give the ASVAB, report an official score, or enlist anyone.

Start from the score you need and the errors you actually make. The AFQT uses four subtests. The other subtests still decide many jobs.
Read the guideAn AFQT percentile is not the percent you answered correctly, and it is not a job score. Here is how to read the report you actually get.
