CCRN (Adult) Exam Prep

The CCRN (Adult) exam from AACN Certification Corporation has 150 four-option questions (125 scored, 25 unscored) in three hours. Under the test plan for exams taken on and after November 12, 2025, Clinical Judgment is 80% (cardiovascular, respiratory, other body systems, and multisystem problems) and Professional Caring and Ethical Practice is 20%. AACN sets a raw passing score of 83 correct out of 125 scored questions, which it says is not a percentage. For the Direct Care pathway, you need a current, unencumbered U.S. RN or APRN license and must meet one of the 1,750- or 2,000-hour options, including its recent-hours requirement. Other CCRN pathways have different requirements. Passy practice is original and does not predict a result.
