HESI A2 Results: When and How You See Your Scores
HESI A2 scores typically appear in the Evolve HESI NG course. Faculty can control when students see results. Admissions decisions remain a school process.
Short answer
HESI A2 results are typically accessed by signing into Evolve, opening the HESI NG course, and using Exam Results. Elsevier’s faculty materials also allow programs to decide whether students see scores immediately after finishing. The report is not the admissions decision. Use the percentages Elsevier shows, then apply the school’s published rule.
The report lives in Evolve. The decision lives at the school.
Elsevier student instructions for A2 and A-la-carte exams tell candidates to log into Evolve, open the HESI NG course, and use Exam Results. Remediation, when available, is a separate navigation item. If the scores are not visible yet, keep HESI A2 review pointed at the assigned academic exams in Passy instead of refreshing a portal every five minutes.
Why two classmates can see results at different times
Faculty-facing Evolve A2 materials include post-exam reporting choices, including whether students can view results after they finish so remediation can start. A program can therefore delay student-facing scores even when the sitting is complete.
Do not treat a friend’s “I saw mine instantly” as Elsevier’s universal clock.
If you tested through a school lab, Prometric, or a remote vendor, you still usually return to the same Evolve identity you used to register. Keep that username. Evolve student instructions emphasize creating or using the existing account in order to test and later see results.
What the report is for
Elsevier’s academic exams yield percentage scores. A composite averages completed exams. Those numbers describe academic performance on the exams you took.
They do not:
- admit you
- convert into an ATI TEAS score
- replace a section minimum your school published
- tell you which items were unscored
Use passing score for the floor and good score for competitiveness. Use retake only after you know the school’s attempt rule.
If the portal looks empty
- Confirm you are in the HESI NG course tied to that sitting, not an old iNet bookmark.
- Try Exam Results, then Remediation, as labeled in Elsevier’s student PDFs.
- Ask the program’s testing coordinator before creating a second Evolve account.
