HESI A2 Results: When and How You See Your Scores

Where to find HESI A2 results in Evolve

Your HESI A2 report lives in Evolve, under the same account you used to register. Which screen you open depends on the platform your program uses.

On HESI NG (the current Evolve exam platform):

1. Sign in at evolve.elsevier.com with the account you registered with.
2. Open your HESI NG course. In My Evolve it can appear as the HESI Assessment resource.
3. Select Exam Results. Use the expand arrow to see each exam and download your reports.
4. Open Remediation separately if your program turned it on.

On HESI iNet (the older Student Access setup some programs still use):

1. Sign in to Evolve, find the HESI Assessment resource in My Evolve, and choose Student Access.
2. Look in Exam History for the list of reports from previous exams.
3. Open an exam, or select the small “+” sign, to see each module. Select View Results for section detail.

Depending on how the exam was set up, Elsevier’s student guide says score PDFs can appear soon after each module, plus a summary report for all completed modules. While you wait, keep reviewing your assigned exams in the Passy HESI A2 prep app → instead of refreshing the portal every few minutes.

When will you see your HESI A2 scores?

There is no single Elsevier release clock. When faculty schedule an A2, Elsevier’s faculty guide has them choose two reporting settings.

That is why two classmates can see results at different times. A friend’s “I saw mine instantly” describes their program’s setting, not yours. If your group tests across several time slots and your program picked the group option, your report can stay hidden until the last slot ends.

What the HESI A2 report shows

Elsevier’s 2022 paper on the A2 says each academic exam you take produces its own score, and the composite score averages the exams you completed. The report covers only the exams your program assigned, so two applicants’ composites can come from different exam sets.

The report does not:

• admit you to a program
• convert into an ATI TEAS score
• replace a section minimum your school published
• tell you which items were unscored

If you can’t find your scores

1. Confirm you signed in with the Evolve account you registered with. Do not create a second account; results attach to the original one.
2. Check which platform you are on. If you do not see Exam Results, look for Student Access and Exam History, or the reverse.
3. If the exam shows but the scores do not, your program may have chosen to release results after the whole group tests, or not to show them. Ask the program’s testing coordinator.

How to request HESI transcripts

Some programs want an official HESI transcript rather than a screenshot. Elsevier’s student guides give two routes:

• From the Evolve homepage, sign in and select HESI Transcripts in the HESI Secured Exams section.
• From Student Access, open the My Exams page, choose View HESI FAQs, then Transcripts, and follow the instructions there.

Check the program’s deadline before you request one, because the transcript has to arrive before the school reviews files.
