CompTIA Security+ V7 is exam series SY0-701. CompTIA lists a maximum of 90 questions, multiple-choice and performance-based, 90 minutes, and a passing score of 750 on a scale of 100 to 900. The five domains are General Security Concepts (12%), Threats, Vulnerabilities, and Mitigations (22%), Security Architecture (18%), Security Operations (28%), and Security Program Management and Oversight (20%). CompTIA has published a next version, Security+ V8 (SY0-801), with a stated launch around November 17, 2026. That version is not the bookable exam this practice set targets. Passy is not a CompTIA practice exam and does not predict a scaled score.
