CompTIA’s published U.S. retail price for Security+ V7 is $404 as of January 2025. Confirm the store. Training and retakes are separate.
Short answer
CompTIA’s own FAQ says the retail price for Security+ V7 is $404 as of January 2025. That figure is not a cart price from October 3, 2026, and it is not a worldwide price. One voucher is one attempt. A retake is another purchase. Training, books, and Passy are separate. Passy does not sell the CompTIA voucher.
The published U.S. retail figure
On October 3, 2026, CompTIA’s article “The New CompTIA Security+: Your Questions Answered” still said the retail price for Security+ V7 is $404 as of January 2025. Use that as a dated official statement. Before you pay, open CompTIA’s store and read the price for your country and currency. Discounts, academic pricing, bundles, and regional storefronts change what you are charged. This page will not invent a second number.

CompTIA’s voucher help article describes vouchers as non-refundable, generally expiring one year from purchase, and tied to a certification. If the exam retires, retirement can void a voucher even if the printed expiration is later. The English SY0-701 retirement date is June 11, 2027. If you buy far ahead of a date you might miss, read the voucher terms again. The version guide is the place to decide whether you are aiming at SY0-701.
Retakes and extras
Failing does not include a second sitting in the first fee. The wait rules are in the retake guide. Online delivery and a test center are different places to sit the same exam. They are not a second product with a second published price on this page. Confirm both in the Pearson flow when you schedule.
